Split tender without the maths
Divide a ticket across cash, card, debit and QR in a few taps. Partial payments stay on one bill until it balances.
VAT and service charges you configure
Rates are settings you configure per product or store, not values baked into the register. The receipt prints a clean multi-rate breakdown and the same rates carry into your invoices.
Customer history at the counter
Look up past purchases, redeem store credit and award loyalty points on the same customer profile they use in the webshop.
Receipts in the format the shop wants
Drive Star Micronics and Epson ESC/POS printers over USB or network, or send the receipt by email or SMS instead of paper.

Rather than applying one flat sales tax, RetailHunch calculates VAT line by line at the rates you configure per product — a reduced rate on food alongside the standard rate, for example — and prints the split on the receipt.

Questions shops ask first
Do I need to buy new POS hardware?
No. RetailHunch runs in a modern browser on the iPad, Mac or Windows machine you already have. Standard USB or Bluetooth barcode scanners, Star Micronics or Epson receipt printers and ordinary cash drawers connect directly.
What happens at the till if the internet drops?
The register keeps taking sales in its offline safeguard mode: transactions queue locally and sync as soon as the connection comes back, so a blinking router does not close the shop.
Can two tills sell from the same stock?
Yes. Every register reads and writes the same master catalogue and stock pool, so a busy counter cannot sell the last unit out from under a colleague or the webshop.
Can I set different VAT rates on the same ticket?
Yes. VAT is configured per product, so a basket can mix standard and reduced rates and the receipt still shows one accurate breakdown per rate.
