Cookies, kept to a minimum.
How RetailHunch and the independent storefronts it powers use cookies and browser storage — and how you stay in control.

01 · What we store
Strictly necessary, nothing more
RetailHunch and the tenant storefronts it powers run on first-party browser storage (local storage and session storage) instead of HTTP tracking cookies. Everything listed below exists only so the service works: without it, baskets would empty on every click and sign-in would not survive a page change.
We do not set advertising cookies, we do not run cross-site trackers of our own, and we do not sell browsing data.
Sign-in session
Keeps merchants and staff signed in while they work. Stored on your own device.
Until sign-out, or session expiry
Shopping basket & wishlist
Remembers the items shoppers add to their basket or save for later on a tenant storefront.
Until cleared in the browser
Store preferences
Remembers practical choices such as the selected store branch, currency display, and recently viewed products.
Until cleared in the browser
02 · Third parties
Payment providers at checkout
When a shopper pays online, the payment provider handling the checkout may set its own strictly necessary cookies under its own cookie policy. Embedded content a merchant adds to their own storefront (for example a video or map) can behave the same way.
Hosting and network infrastructure may add strictly necessary technical cookies for security and load balancing. These are never used for advertising.
03 · Your control
Clearing your stored data
You can delete everything this platform has stored at any time through your browser settings — look for “clear site data”, “cookies and site data”, or “local storage” for the site address. Doing so will empty your basket, remove saved wishlist items, and sign you out.
Most browsers also offer private/incognito modes that discard stored data automatically when the window closes, and settings to block third-party cookies entirely — both keep working with RetailHunch storefronts.
04 · Changes & contact
Updates to this policy
If our use of cookies or browser storage changes materially, we will update this page and revise the date below. For questions about this policy, contact RetailHunch BV at [email protected].
