A single stock pool
A counter sale decrements the same balance the webshop is selling from, and a pending online basket locks its units before checkout completes.
Reorder points that raise their hand
Set a minimum per product; when stock drops below it, RetailHunch drafts a purchase order for you to review and send to the supplier.
Stocktake with a phone
Run a partial or full count with mobile camera scanning, and record breakage, shrinkage and supplier discrepancies as they are found.
Movements you can audit

Questions shops ask first
Does an online order reduce my counter stock?
Yes. The webshop and the register read the same stock record, so an online order reserves its units immediately rather than waiting for a nightly export.
What happens when the last unit sells?
The product stops being sellable online as soon as availability reaches zero, which is what prevents the two-channels-one-bottle problem that causes cancelled orders.
Can I count stock with my phone?
Yes. A stocktake can be run with mobile camera scanning for a shelf or the whole shop, and the resulting variances are recorded against the count.
Do I have to enter products twice — once for the till and once for the website?
No. There is one catalogue. A product created for the counter is the same product the webshop sells, with the same barcode, price and VAT rate.
